Allow user(role) to only update their items

It would be nice if there’s an option to only allow users(role) to update their content/items.

So that an author can only update their post and e.g. an editor can update all the authors posts.

Hello @Sephen have you found a solution to your problem?
Normally I think if I’m not mistaken that it is possible to do it with the Group field.

Hello.
I can’t update my contents.
I send a POST request with data and _id. But… Cockpit create a new content and not update the old content.

What’s the problem ?
