How to run cockpit on my local machine?

Hi.
I have just found cockpit and it seems to be the right choice for me. But I was wondering how can I run it on my local machine, during development stage? Any help would be nice.

You should be able to run it locally via WAMP/MAMP or with Docker using a typical LAMP stack, although I haven’t tried it myself.
