Account-Link Field Type?

Had the following idea:

I have the User Groups addon - I have assigned some users to the group ‘Profile’

I have a Collection called Profiles

Each entry is a ‘user profile’ - Photo, address, social media links etc

I can set visibility and editing permissions for the collection based on the user’s group, but that lets them edit ALL of the entries.

What I need is for each user to be able to view and edit ONLY their profile entry - and no one else’s.

Can access to collection entries be restricted like this?

In the end we went with UserSpice to handle the user logins - we now have a custom page pulling in the Cockpit collection entry into a form and update via the API
