# What happened to gallery field in the new cockpit free?

How can you add a field that intakes multiple images/assets in the new cockpit free? There used to be a field called gallery.

A dedicated gallery field isn’t available anymore in v2. Use the field type `asset` and enable the field option for multiple values

Ah I didn’t notice the multiple values option at the bottom. That’s perfect!

@artur is there a way to select multiple images at once not each time click on add asset?
