# LayoutComponents Addon not appearing in Settings

Hello,

I’m trying to use the [LayoutComponents addon](https://github.com/agentejo/LayoutComponents) however I don’t see it in the Settings after placing it in the addons folder.

Steps I’ve taken:

1. Download and extracted Cockpit
2. Download LayoutComponents zip file and extracted it to the `/cockpit/addons/LayoutComponents` directory
3. Ran: `docker run -d --name cockpit -p 8080:80 agentejo/cockpit`
4. Login with the admin account and inspect the Settings

I am able to interact with Cockpit normally but there is no “Layout Components” in the Settings.

I must be overlooking something, anyone able to help me out? Is there any way (either via the docker logs or admin interface) to verify that Cockpit sees the Addon?
