# Interface translation in spaces

Hi,

I just created a new space but the translation i18n isn’t used within it.  
Is there a way to use the translation file in my root/config/i18n folder, maybe with the .spaces/myNewSpace/config/config.php ?  
I don’t want to duplicate my translation file in my sub-spaces, because every changes to translations would need an update for every spaces.
