# Fallen at the first hurdle

Hi guys,

I’ve just discovered cockpit and am keen to get using it. I’ve installed locally and on a remote server, created some collections and items - looking good so far.

I’ve thrown a test.php file in the root of the cockpit-master folder with some code to read the collections, taken from the documentation. I’ve created a token and bunged that in.

But I’m getting the attached errors in the console. I’m sure this is a horrendous noob issue, but I’d rather get going with help, than spend hours going in circles.

Please can someone tell me where I’m going wrong?
