# (Beginner)Having issue with Playground, giving permission denied error

Hey, I create a new collection and trying to access it with get call in the rest api playground, but it is giving 403 permission denied error. Need help

Did you set an api key?

Or assign a role to public / anonymous requests in Settings \> Api & Security with the needed permissions
